Contributions Series: Piop's New Publication is now available

03March.2009: The catalogue of the Exhibition Architectural counterpoints, from Zachos to the present. Aristotelis Zachos’ Photo Archive Exhibition: Epirus, Thessaly, Macedonia. Benaki Museum Neohellenic Architecture Archives is now available. Containing photographic material of the first two decades of the 20th century from the archive of Aristotelis Zachos, the volume presents monuments of Epirus, Thessaly and Macedonia; on the initiative of architect Yannis Kizis, the exhibited archival material is confronted with contemporary photographs of the depicted landscapes, posing anew the question of the conservation of traditional architecture in a constantly evolving social and urban context.
