Recently published: Traditional needlework from the «Dora Stratou» Greek Dance Theatre collection

03March.2009: The volume on Traditional needlework from the «Dora Stratou» Greek Dance Theatre collection by Dimitra Papoutsopoulou is now available. The fruit of her longstanding experience and practice of embroidery, the book offers a systematic recording of the various techniques of traditional needlework in Greece with a view to preserving them. The volume’s imaginative yet practical structure is aesthetically pleasing, while simultaneously ensuring its usability even by those with no experience in traditional needlepoint stitches and embroidery.
