1/Jul/2008: The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation  organizes the exhibition " The Journey: The Greek American Dream" in the multi-purpose hall of the Museum of the Olive and Greek Olive Oil. The visitors of the exhibition will have the opportunity to enjoy a documentary and a photographic exhibition about the history of Greek migration to America, with material from US archives, based on the research and direction of Maria Iliou and the historical consultant Alexander Kitroeff.
The documentary will be projected on a daily basis excepting Tuesday at 11:00', 13:00' and 15:00'.
At the same time, the exhibition unit "The American Dream in Laconia" refers particularly to the migration of the inhabitants of Laconia to America.
Duration of the exhibition: until 14 September 2008.
