The Lyceum Club of Greek Women 100 years: New PIOP publication

2010-12-01: The collective volume The Lyceum Club of Greek Women 100 years, dedicated to its centennial functioning and action, is now available; the book presents the history of the first organized women’s association with an uninterrupted presence in the social and cultural life of Athens and of the provincial towns where annexes were established. The 15 studies that make up the volume cover the Lyceum Club’s global trajectory, with particular emphasis on the work and ideological guidelines of the first decades, which were determined by the Lyceum Club’s founder, Callirhoe Parren, and her successor, Anna Triantafyllidou.
