Free entrance to PIOP Museum Network with European Youth Card

2010-09-20: The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the European Youth Card offers holders of this card free entrance to all the Museums of the PIOP Museum Network. The European Youth Card is an entertainment, communication and information tool for young European citizens. In Greece, it is promoted by the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs, and more specifically by the General Secretariat for Youth and the Youth Institute.

It is an easy-to-use personal card for young people between the ages of 13 and 30, which offers its holders discounts, as well as the possibility of participating in events, competitions and sporting meetings both in Greece and in another 40 countries abroad.
The companies participating in this programme cover a wide spectrum of products and services (shops for clothing and footwear, bookshops, theatres, museums, cinemas, restaurants, hotels, foreign language schools, etc.).
In Greece, the card has an annual subscription fee of 10 euros.

Those interested in the card's benefits and discounts can obtain information through the Greek portal www.europeanyothcard.gr and the European website www.euro26.org.
