The Museum is housed in the old communal olive oil press of Aghia Paraskevi, in Lesvos. The museum features the industrial phase of olive oil production in Greece, focusing on the changes that were brought about by the introduction of mechanic drive into oil production. The historical mechanical equipment has been fully restored and exhibited in an exemplary manner, while also highlighting the human part in the production process.
