in PIOP's publication series for children «Paramythia», the story (in Greek) by Sophia Kalantzakou, Alexandra, Pavlos and the mystery of Lake Stymphalia, illustrated by Spiros Goussis. The trigger behind this book was the myth of the Stymphalian birds. The group of friends, through its exploration of the lake and villages of Stymphalia, as well as the Environment of Stymphalia, will reveal the mystery surrounding the lake and understand how reality has been incorporated into the myth.
This children's book highlights the link between the environment and culture. In parallel, it proposes actions and initiatives that school classes could adopt in relation not only to the specific lake, but also to other cultural landscapes of similar interest.
