The story is about an olive tree, that initially insists on keeping her fruit all to herself. However, she soon begins to feel lonely and miserable. When she meets humans, she discovers that by offering her shade, leaves, branches, fruits, and oil, she not only finds companionship but also gains their love. In turn, the people take good care of her and hold her in a special place in their hearts.
